Only the first two points on this note are about the school as a whole. The rest is for YOU as and ESCORT!
1. How do people find us anyway? They use Search Places and enter a keyword. Places with the highest "traffic" are at the top of the list, because this list is sorted by amount of "traffic." We keep the limited amount of search words allowed up-to-date, to pull in the largest amount of people. Even our name is designed to catch the attention on the list. But mainly, more traffic = more visibility = more paying clients!
2. Why do we allow free sex here? Quality clients ALREADY see our club in search just as the noobs do. Some girls have thought if we ONLY let paying clients come here it will somehow improve. But all that will do is decrease "traffic" and put us LOWER on the search list and get us LESS paying clients.
3. It is best when there are at least 4 girls standing at GSC. This gives any visitor the impression that we are successful and have a selection of escorts. Don't see it as competition, but as the long term effect of getting clients to return here again and again. When the school yard is empty no one wants to stay and they sure wont return. So put in a little effort and hang out at school when it is dead. It will really help the school and YOU in the long run.
4. ADVERTISE US!! Put us in your Picks, AT LEAST!!! Go out and hand out your card, with our LM on your card!! Just drag and drop it onto the note SEE its easy!
5. Don't just stand around the school waiting for the clients to talk to you. Many, if not most, are shy or first time clients and don't know how to go about any of this. START TALKING TO THEM FIRST!!! Be a Greeter! And always be polite- the Spirit of GSC...
6. Simple flirting goes a long way. The casual smile or random giggle, it's cute and will help to put clients at ease. GSC EVENTS SUMMARY 2008
I took over as Events Coordinator around April 1, 2008.
At that time the only regularly scheduled event was Friday afternoon parties for the girls with DJ Jolt providing music and an informal voting procedure for guest and girls to “IM” their vote for favorite girl.
The “Slave Auctions” had fallen off for uncertain reason an as I had not participated in them when I first started coming to GSC and there was no discussion at that time about reinstate them at that time.
Attendance at the Friday parties was sporadic prior to my taking over and had been poorly attended for the last 3-4 weeks.
Initially the parties attendance at participation picked up with a regular hostess again and notices prior to the activities notifying girls of the event.
Due to problems tracking votes for girls and some complaints of possible “favoritism” in the voting I made the decision to invest in a formal contest board as used in most clubs to ensure the contest would be held objectively.
Response to the parties was very good and attendance by the girls was high and we had several regular guests/customers that would frequently contribute to the prize and tip generously. This raised the stake in the contests as the prizes increased dramatically.
This had a several effects, attendance was high but also the expectations were also raised of the girls attending. We have also now have had several of the more wealthy clients have dropped off in their attendance and contribution to the parties, in spite of attempts to recognize and reward contributors with special titles. Some due to the economic problems in RL and a couple finding other interests or becoming involved in more committed relations. Also we began getting outsiders visiting and joining in the contests.
This increased party attendance dramatically with up to 30-40 persons attending on good weeks. This however created another problem with the girls that work here becoming jealous of the girls that were able to get a lot of their friends in to vote for them.
Another problem developed with erratic reliability of the DJ at the time as Jolt would not show up sometimes without notice and eventually stopped coming in at all even after discussing this with Lolita and myself and assured we wanted him to continue.
In response to the fall off in contribution to prizes most have that expense has been absorbed by myself, with occasional additional contributions.
In response to the Cherry18 girls concerns about outside competition in the parties we introduced the Wednesday “Hump Day” parties which only the Cherry18 girls may enter.
In response to the DJ problems I have booked another DJ, Katt Milner, who has been very reliable and appears to be well received as her selection of music is more eclectic than our prior DJ and she also takes requests which the girls and guests like. However this has also added an additional cost to the events as it costs 1000 lindens to have her DJ each events (which is standard for and decent DJ in SL).
The goals of the Events are to:
1.Stimulate interest and attendance by the Cherry18 girls by providing some fun activities.
2.Stimulate customer interest and attendance by providing a fun and interesting forum to present the girls to current and prospective customers.
3.Stimulate traffic flow.
Current plans to achieve these ends
1.Continue the currently scheduled parties as long as they are sustainable.
2.Bring back the *Slave Auctions* day and time as yet open as we need an auctioneer and identify times for greatest participation by girls.
3.Booking of “Special” music venues.
4.Advertising of events via the SL events calendar.
5.Solicit potential “backup” hostess from current roster of girls or target hire.
Quick Registrar Notes
1.Greater selectivity in hiring targeting girls that are attractive, more firmly committed to the theme of GSC, are more reliable and honest in paying 15%.
2.Who is in charge? (if anyone) and the role they actually play so there will not be miscommunication or unintentional offenses.
3.Keeping our “lead girls” happy. As they provide high quality of service to customers and provide role models to newer girls. (Lyllith and Candi come to mind)
4.Escorting classes to further orient and train newer girls.
5.Focus of school should be a fun place for girls to come and hang out AND make some lindens. If girls are here and having fun the customers will come.

The advertisements in Search, the ads we maintain at various high traffic sims, the networking and benchmarking, the constant refinement of hiring, security and public relations are just extra boosters (some details are trade secrets! ;). Even the huge crazy well-known parties are only twice each week! The most important marketing tool we have is our "staff" or friends, or family if you Will. the magick of having fun, meeting sweet, kind, cute, loving young women and some great guys. So we take care of each other well, we communicate, we work as a team for the good of the school as a whole, and no one is better than anyone else or expected to be perfect. We show respect to everyone and we expect love to conquer all.
These goals of fun and friendship are in the spirit of GSC and the great service of patience and love is the heart of GSC. That is the ultimate traffic magnet and it is the ultimate team effort. Especially when the dancing gets a little...

2008 End of Year Report: Security (Crash Hastings)
It has been my exteme pleasure to be a part of the GSC family for the past year. We have seen a complete re-building of our security department, and the changes seem to be working exceptionally well!
GSC's primary goal is to provide a safe and entertaining environment for our clients and escorts. Making everyone feel welcome is a very important part of what we do. The more welcoming the environment, the higher the traffic, and the more paying clients will show up!
GSC has one of the best security systems on SL, and most of you don't even know about it!! I maintain a staff of six avis that patrol our school on a daily basis. The avis are rotated continuously, so they are very hard to identify. Even Loli doesn't know who they all are!!! These avis will proactively patrol the school looking for freelancers and troublemakers. Each of these avis are VERY SPECIFICALLY TRAINED on how to handle violators. It is our goal to maintain the best traffic possible, while enforcing our rules, so the staff and I are well trained to do exactly that!
As most of you already know, when my primary avi is in SL I will usually work undercover, so you will not see my GSC Tags on my Avi or in my profile. This allows me to be approachable to freelancers and catch them in the act. Since none of you will know when an uncover security avi is on the sim, if any of you see suspected Freelancing, child avis, trouble makers... IM CRASH HASTINGS IMMEDIATELY! If you haven't added Me to your friends list, please do so as soon as you can! Then IM me even if you suspect a problem! My IM is setup to go to my email, so I will be tracking activity even while I'm caught up in RL. I may not be able to immediately appear/respond, but I will take your information and take appropriate action when I log back on... I promise! Any of you, at any time, that feel as though there are security issues that require some attention by our team, please IM me with the information. I will contact you afterwards to discuss any issues and make sure that they are resolved properly!
Its human nature to want to ban anyone who even looks like a freelancing escort, but if we did that based on appearance alone we would eject some people who were innocently looking to have fun. Next thing you know, our reputation would start to suffer, and then so would our traffic (and your client base). So any of you who do have banning permissions, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO SEND ME THE TEXT OF YOUR CHAT WITH THE OFFENDER, SO THAT I CAN MAINTAIN APPROPRIATE RECORDS for the Head Mistress. This is really important for us to address the issues that arise, so your cooperation is very much appreciated.

Also, remember that the Lindens have spies. They are patrolling all sims looking for inappropriate behavior. One of our biggest concerns is the SL policies (and laws in most countries) concerning Age Play. We at GSC do not support or condone Age Play (AP). If one of our escorts were to offer that service to an undercover Linden spy, we could be shut down. So if you are approached by someone seeking AP, please IM me with their name. Also, GSC policy requires all avatars visiting our school sim to maintain a height of at least 5'2". We maintain a height sensor in the front of the school so that height can be adjusted and verified as needed. If you see someone "poof in" with a child or under sized avatar, please politely tell them of our policy and of our height sensor. If you get a negative or aggressive response, don't worry, just IM me their name and I'll take it from there! Also, for those of you that have a younger looking avatar, feel free to join Candi Larkham's group "I'm 18, Deal with it". You can search the group and join at no cost. The group charter states that members do not engage in AP.
We take our security responsibility very seriously at GSC, and we will do our very best to keep you safe and keep freelancers out, while at the same time maintaining the best possible environment for our guests. We have had another amazing year at GSC. Your Board of Directors have worked hard to focus on three primary goals this year:
1) To increase traffic at GSC
2) To maintain a fun and safe work environment
3) To ensure only registered GSC escorts are authorized on the sim.

Cherrylicious Doobie was appointed "Events Coordinator" on April 1st, 2008. Cherry has done an amazing job of contributing to goals 1 & 2 above by creating imaginative and fun parties at GSC weekly. Cherry and Crash Hastings (Director of Security) have been working together on this! Cherry makes it fun, and Crash keeps it safe! Some of the other ideas being discussed to maximize the fun and no-lag environment are:
- Making more space by annexing part of GSC into different sims to minimize prim use/lag.
- Creating training classes for new escorts. This will help new girls get clients more readily (and lower the frustration level).
3) To ensure only registered GSC escorts are authorized on the sim.
GSC has one of the best security systems on SL, and most of you don't even know about it!! Crash Hastings maintains a staff of six avis that patrol our school on a daily basis. The avis are rotated continuously, so they are very hard to identify. Even Loli doesn't know who they all are!!! These avis will proactively patrol the school looking for freelancers and troublemakers. Each of these avis are VERY SPECIFICALLY TRAINED on how to handle violators. It is our goal to maintain the best traffic possible, while enforcing our rules, so Crash and his staff are well trained to do exactly that! Since none of us know when an uncover security avi is on the sim, if any of our Escorts see suspected Freelancing, child avis, trouble makers... IM CRASH HASTINGS IMMEDIATELY! If you haven't added Crash to your friends list, please do so as soon as you can! Then IM him even if you suspect a problem! Even if Crash is not online, his IM's will go to his email/Blackberry. If he is able, he will log on immediately to take care of the situation. If his isn't able, he WILL approach the suspected trouble maker as soon as he logs on. Crash keeps detailed records of who is warned and banned, so PLEASE use Crash for your protection.

Even tho there are a few people (you know who you are) who really EQUALLY share the honor of selfless toil and over-all improvement of our SL home, we would like to recognize one annually who deserves a special thank you. The first GSC "Cherry on Top!!!" melted our hearts in 2008 and we are proud to call her our friend and sister. Please join us in dropping to our knees and chanting "we're not worthy... we're not worthy..." up to Cherrylicious Doobie (that is the best way to see up her skirt.)

This is our opportunity to start a regular press for GSC to teach basic skills, share information and highlight current issues. Building history, building tradition, sharing what we have learned and getting different views so we can work together and live together.
GSC A Brief History
THE GIRLS SCHOOL CLUBHOUSE opened in late September of 2006 in the Eunpyung region the only place in SL for schoolgirl roleplay. There was another school at that time but it was a public school (by the American definition) and GSC was created a private school for girls. Our amazing investor William (my first true friend in SL with whom i met my first SL love) began paying tiers just from his heart tho he never used the land and i think i even got a bit of a crush on him.
We always had a large crowd, even tho the land was just 1024 sqm and all our stuff was freebie, because we had a policy of welcoming everyone regardless of their fetishes unless they caused trouble on the parcel. Our security was basically me (Lolita) banning ppl if i could do it fast enough and we were a favorite target for griefers.
A few of our friends wanted to escort so we allowed them to (asking nicely for them to pay 15% into a tip jar) but mainly the land was just for us nerds who played SL 18 hours every day to hang out and be naughty. In 2007 we relocated the school to a 4096 sqm parcel in the Montserrat region for a short time and then again to our now famous (infamous?!) little 10,736 sqm home in Yongchon.
Over the year 2007 our escorts started getting more serious and made requests that I as owner of the land also take their SL jobs seriously, so we started banning freelance escorts, hired only the best of the best, pulled a team together to manage the club, and began dreaming up ways to market the school. When LL adopted a new policy of censorship based on the prejudices of a few European governments, GSC was on the verge of closing down on principle against hypocrisy, but too many lovers of GSC united and saved the school from destruction. We became Cherry18 GSC at that time. But that is another story... one of many crazy but true stories!!!
This is such an incomplete history; the whole story is quite an epic tale lol. We have watched ppl learn English as a second language here, we have supported a gift shop, we have battled hard competition, we have seen weddings and truly heart-wrenching break-ups, we have danced a hundred dances and made love a million times, and kissed literally tens of thousands of lives! 2008 has been a year of huge change and growth for us, as you will read, and we hope you hang around for the future which can only get curiouser and curiouser...
